Upgrade Rules
1. Basic Upgrade Rules
Material Requirements:
Each upgrade requires 10 items of the same rarity (or a combination with Upgrade Seeds).
Upgrade Seeds can be used as substitute materials to help reach the required amount more flexibly.
Upgrade Rarity Outcome:
The resulting item will be one rarity tier higher. For example, 10 R-rarity items can be synthesized into 1 SR-rarity item.
Heroes and weapons can be synthesized up to G-rarity. Social items can only be synthesized up to R-rarity.
2. Upgrade Probability
Standard Materials: Each standard item contributes 10% success rate.
Upgrade Seeds: Each seed contributes 8% success rate, slightly lower than standard items.
3. Upgrade Seeds
Creation Method: Players can synthesize 1 R-rarity Upgrade Seed by combining 10 R-rarity social items (emotes or actions).
Usage Rules: Upgrade Seeds can replace items of the same rarity, offering flexibility when materials are insufficient.
4. Priority Hero Mechanism
Priority Inheritance Rules: If any Priority Heroes are included in the upgrade materials, the resulting hero has a chance to inherit the Priority status. The inheritance chance equals the number of Priority Heroes used × 10%. (1 Priority Hero = 10% chance, 2 Priority Heroes = 20%, and so on.)
Priority Seeds:
In CB3, players can obtain Priority Seeds through the X League Mint Draw. These items serve as substitute materials for synthesizing Priority Heroes. Up to 5 Priority Seeds can be used in a single synthesis, with each one granting an additional 10% success rate for inheriting the Priority trait. Other than enabling Priority inheritance, their functionality is identical to that of regular synthesis seeds.
Random Hero Selection Rules: The system will randomly select one of the 10 input heroes as the result. The resulting hero will inherit all attributes (such as combat stats and talents) from the selected hero — only the rarity is upgraded. If the Priority attribute is inherited, the selected hero will become a Priority Hero.
5. Upgrade Restrictions
Same-Rarity Only: Only items of the same rarity can be used in a single upgrade. For example, R-rarity items can only be synthesized with other R-rarity materials or R-rarity Upgrade Seeds. Cross-rarity combinations are not allowed.
Upgrade Zone Rules: You cannot use only Upgrade Seeds in the upgrade interface. At least five real items are required to proceed with upgrade.
📌Heroes, weapons, and other items must all be inactive to be used for Upgrade. Please make sure they are removed from deployment or usage status before proceeding.
Upgrade Example: Priority Hero Upgrade
Materials:
6 R-rarity Heroes (including 1 Priority Hero)
4 R-rarity Upgrade Seeds
Success Rate Calculation:
(6 × 10%) + (4 × 8%) = 60% + 32% = 92% total success rate
Priority Inheritance Probability:
With 1 Priority Hero used in the materials, the chance to inherit Priority status is 10%.
If Upgrade is Successful:
There is a 60% chance to randomly select one out of six R-rarity heroes and upgrade it into one SR-rarity hero.
If the Priority inheritance succeeds, the selected SR-rarity Hero will gain Priority status.
The remaining 5 R-rarity Heroes and all 4 Synthesis Seeds will be consumed.
The resulting Hero will retain the talents of the randomly selected hero.
There is a 40% chance to get an SR-rarity synthesis seed.
